International Business Strategy Intern (AI & Market Intelligence)

Goal

  • How do companies find new markets, understand customers in different countries, and turn opportunities into business? This internship gives you the opportunity to learn by working on real international business projects。
  • You will also learn how to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to research markets, analyse information, develop content, and support SEO.

  • Remote

University Credit

  • This internship can be completed for university or academic credit, subject to your university’s requirements.

International Business & Market Strategy

  • Research international markets, industries, companies, and products to identify new business opportunities.
  • Study market trends, competitors, customers, and industry developments across different countries.
  • Research products and their applications to understand where and how they can be introduced to new markets.
  • Support market expansion projects by turning research into practical business ideas and recommendations.
  • Prepare research, presentations, and other materials for ongoing business projects.

AI & Market Intelligence

  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to research markets, industries, products, and competitors.
  • Learn how to use AI to analyse information, identify opportunities, and develop business ideas.
  • Use AI to improve research, content development, and day-to-day business workflows.
  • Explore how AI is changing the way companies conduct market research, marketing, and international business development.

SEO & International Content Strategy

  • Research what international customers are searching for and identify opportunities to reach new markets.
  • Develop website content around products, industries, and market opportunities.
  • Conduct keyword and competitor research to support international SEO.
  • Use AI tools to help research, write, and improve content for different markets and audiences.
  • Explore how SEO and content can support international market expansion.

Supply Chain & Product Research

  • Research products, industries, and supply chain information to understand the business behind each market.
  • Work with the supply chain team to understand product specifications, applications, and market requirements.
  • Connect product and supply chain knowledge with international market and business strategy.
  • Help turn technical and industry information into useful insights for marketing and business development.

Project Management (as required)

  • Work with marketing, supply chain, sales, and project teams on international business projects.
  • Coordinate research and project tasks and keep information organized.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and action plans.
  • Update daily and weekly KPI figures.

Position Requirements

  • Strong interest in international business, strategy, marketing, or global markets (especially Asia/Africa)
  • Curious and willing to learn about different industries and countries.
  • Fast learner with good attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of an international team.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Interest in international trade, market expansion, business strategy, marketing, SEO, AI, or supply chain.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity is a plus.
  • Experience with research, writing, marketing, SEO, or website content is helpful but not required.
  • Willingness to learn about industries such as mining, manufacturing, chemicals, construction, and power.

Expected Outcomes

  • Understand how international businesses research markets and identify new opportunities.
  • Gain practical experience in international business strategy and market intelligence.
  • Learn how to leverage AI for market research, business analysis, content development, and SEO.
  • Work on real international business projects and develop recommendations based on your research.
  • Learn to communicate and work with an international and multicultural team.
  • Potentially transition from internship to entry-level associate position.

  • Introduction to SEO and international content strategy
  • Role of the internship in the company’s overall strategy
  • Tasks and project overview

Mandatory Online Team Meetings

  • At least 3 team meetings and mentor meetings
  • Review of work samples and projects
  • Individual and Team Presentations
  • Team meetings to discuss projects, progress, and ideas
  • Team members available for questions and support
