Internship Opportunity: Equity Capital Markets Intern
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Thompson Thrift is seeking a motivated and analytical intern for our 12-week Summer 2027 internship program, running May 17 through August 6, 2027. This role will provide hands-on experience in Equity Capital Markets, with exposure to investment partner reporting, investor relations, capital calls, and financial analysis.
What You’ll Do:
As a Capital Markets Intern, you will support the team while gaining hands-on exposure to investor reporting, communications, and analysis:
- Assist with gathering data, conducting analysis, and preparing investment partner reports.
- Gain exposure to investor relations and support the team with investor-related requests and communications.
- Assist with preparing and organizing investment offering materials.
- Support the tracking and reporting of investor capital calls and distributions.
- Maintain and update internal reports and tracking documents.
- Collaborate with Capital Markets, Partner Relations, and Accounting team members on projects and reporting.
- Assist with special projects, research, and Excel-based data analysis.
- Handle confidential financial and investor information with professionalism and discretion.
- Other duties, as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism when working with confidential or sensitive information.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and collaborate across teams.
